In mid-2023, I worked hard to find a reputable builder for my significant house restoration in Cwmbran – works involving structural elements, new heating system, new kitchen, new bathroom, new windows and doors, painting and decorating throughout, new carpets, and various miscellaneous works that arose on a large restoration project. During much of the work I was remote from the property, and therefore I wanted a principal contractor who I could trust and that would help me with the other contractors work.

I chose KJ East Ltd Building Services as the principal contactor with the contact being Kevin East. KJ East did a great job and my dealings with Kevin were a pleasure. I would have no hesitation in using KJ East again and I would happily vouch for them.

Fantastic company, literally pulled us out of a horrible situation just before Christmas.
We had a new kitchen fitted and unfortunately employed cowboys. KJ East then came to the rescue just before Xmas and completely refitted the kitchen, repaired the damage and put everything right.

We needed an old conservatory dismantled which had been erected on a raised platform and needed ideas of what would be an ideal replacement.

We arranged for Kevin to call around and give some ideas of what would be the best use of the space. Kevin suggested composite decking on the platform which had to slightly lowered and rubble removed which when completed would make use of the elevation and with wooden uprights to match the already constructed wooden decking.

The quote was given promptly and was at a cost that was acceptable.

Kevin kept us informed of the progress and would only make contact as and when needed.

On completion the work done by Kevin and his team was excellent and very professional.

This is the third Project we have used Kevin and his Team on over the last 20 Years – This was not an easy Project to undertake on a 100 years Old House – much complicated by the fact that the Works were started in Mid Feb 2020 and then Covid 19 Crisis Hit !!!! – I give much credit to Kevin and his Team as they managed to finish the Works to his usual very high and impeccable standards despite all the New Restrictions forced upon us all.

The Works were once again for third time and were A1 – another factor that again impressed us was the fact the Site was always left clean and Tidy and well sorted – a sign of good Tradesmen taking pride in their Works !!

Will have no hesitation in using Kevin East again when the next Project arises !!
